The three Streams under 482 temporary skill shortage visa:

  • Short-Term stream: 2 to 4 years
  • Medium-Term stream: Upto 4 years
  • Labor Agreement stream: Upto 4 years

2. Working Holiday Visa:

The Working Holiday Visa 417 is a visa for young people who wish to holiday and work in Australia at the same time. This Working Holiday Australia is valid for up to 3 years. It boosts multi-cultural interaction and stronger ties between those from eligible countries and Australia.

Interested applicants can apply for up to 3 Working Holiday Visa, known as a first, second, and third working holiday visa 417. Each Working Holiday Visa enables you to stay for 12 months.

  • Must genuinely want to holiday in Australia
  • Have sufficient money to finance yourself on your working holiday ( AUD 5000)

3. Training Visa:

The Training Visa 407 is for those who want to visit Australia on a temporary basis to engage in professional development or occupational training.

The three streams of 407 Training Visa:

  • Workplace-based training required for registration
  • Structured workplace-based training to enhance skills in an eligible occupation
  • Training that promotes capacity building overseas

Eligibility Criteria for Training Visa 407

  • are sponsored by an approved sponsor to partake in on-the-job occupational training activities or professional development activities
  • are offered an approved nomination by an Australian organization
  • are invited by Commonwealth agency as your sponsor
  • Fulfil visa requirements
  • have proficiency in English language skills, in order to undergo training and comprehend occupational safety standards
  • have a genuine intention to stay temporarily in Australia
  • have proper financial support for yourself and dependent family members( if any) while you are staying in Australia
  • have proper health insurance coverage while in Australia
  • meet health criteria and character requirements
  • minimum 18 years of age

4. Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional Visa:

This visa permits its holders to live, study as well as work in certain regional areas of Australia. It is curated for regional employers to resolve identified labour shortage issues within their region by sponsoring skilled employees whom employers can’t substitute with properly skilled Australian labourers.

Most areas of Australia outside major cities like Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane are labelled as designated regional locations. Holders of this visa can remain in Australia for 5 years from the date of the visa grant and are free to travel to and from Australia during that time. As with all visa applications, there are certain requirements that must be met.

For the Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional Visa

  • be under the age of 45 years
  • Have proficiency in the English Language
